Bank statement parser
PDF or CSV from any major bank. Docz pulls out dates, amounts, and references automatically.
Auto-match to invoices
Matching by amount + date + reference catches 90% of payments without manual work.
Clear cash-flow view
Outstanding, overdue, paid, expected this month — one dashboard, real numbers.
Drop the statement, Docz does the work
No more scrolling bank exports looking for client names. Upload a statement, Docz surfaces transactions that look like invoice payments.
PDF and CSV supported
Paste a bank PDF export straight in. OCR-backed parser handles every major US, EU, and UK bank format.
Smart matching
Match by amount, date, and reference keywords. Unambiguous matches get auto-marked paid; ambiguous ones surface for review.
Reconcile without spreadsheets
Every transaction on the statement has one of three states: matched to an invoice, categorized as other income/expense, or ignored. Clear, reviewable, auditable.
One-click match
Review ambiguous transactions, pick the right invoice from a shortlist. Done in one click per item.
Non-invoice income
Tax refunds, bank interest, transfers — categorize outside the invoice flow without polluting AR reports.
Cash-flow dashboard
At a glance: what's outstanding, what's overdue, what's expected. Dig deeper with per-client aging and 30/60/90-day buckets.
Outstanding and overdue in real time
Every sent invoice contributes to the dashboard. Overdue items bubble up with age and amount.
Expected this month
Issued invoices with future due dates predict upcoming cash. Plan around real numbers, not memory.

Frequently asked questions
Does Docz connect directly to my bank?
Not yet — you upload statements manually. Direct bank feed (Plaid/TrueLayer) is on the roadmap. Manual upload takes ~2 minutes per month per account and supports every bank, not just big-name US ones.
What bank formats are supported?
PDF statements from all major US, UK, EU, and Canadian retail + business banks. CSV exports in any column order — Docz auto-detects headers. Unusual format? Send us a file and we'll add the parser.
What happens to statements after import?
Parsed transactions are saved in your workspace. The original PDF/CSV can be discarded — Docz keeps the extracted data, encrypted at rest.
Can I reverse a match if Docz gets it wrong?
Yes. Every matched transaction is editable. Unmatch returns the invoice to Outstanding and clears the link; no audit trail is lost.
Do I still need an accountant?
Docz handles reconciliation and AR. Year-end filings, tax optimization, and advisory stay with your accountant — Docz just exports them clean numbers instead of a spreadsheet mess.
