Cookie Policy

Last updated: April 11, 2026

This page explains how Docz.me uses cookies and similar browser storage. In short: we use the minimum number of cookies necessary to keep you signed in and to make the site work properly. No ad tracking, no third-party profiling.

What Docz.me uses cookies for

Docz.me uses a small handful of cookies, and every one of them falls into the category of strictly necessary for the service to work:

  • Session cookie — keeps you signed in as you move between pages. Without this cookie, every click would log you out.
  • CSRF token — protects your account from cross-site request forgery attacks when you submit forms.
  • Preference cookies— remember small UI choices like a collapsed sidebar or a selected filter, so you don't have to redo them every visit.

Strictly necessary cookies don't require consent under most privacy laws (including GDPR), because the site literally cannot function without them.

What we don't use

Docz.me does not use:

  • Advertising cookies or ad-network tracking pixels.
  • Cross-site tracking cookies.
  • Third-party analytics that fingerprint you across the web.
  • Cookies to re-target you with ads on other sites.

We may use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to understand aggregate usage (things like “how many people visited the pricing page this week”). Any such tool is configured to avoid setting long-lived identifying cookies.

Third parties

Docz.me does not embed third-party ad networks or social media widgets that would drop cookies on your browser. If we ever need to integrate a third-party service that would set its own cookies, we will update this page and, where required, ask for your consent.

Your choices

You can clear or block cookies through your browser's settings. Be aware that blocking our session cookie will prevent you from signing in — the site simply won't be usable. If your browser offers “Do Not Track” signals, Docz.me respects them for any optional analytics.

Changes to this policy

If we add or remove cookies, we'll update this page and the “last updated” date above. For material changes, we'll also notify you in-app or by email.
